Rooms, furniture & prepositions of place. Maya gives Leo a tour of her Toronto apartment.

πŸ“– Reading: Maya's Apartment

Maya lives in a small apartment in Toronto. It has four rooms: a living room, a bedroom, a kitchen, and a bathroom.

The living room is her favourite room. There is a big sofa in the living room. Her laptop is on the table next to the sofa.

The bedroom is small but comfortable. There is a bed, a wardrobe, and a desk. Her books are on the desk. Her shoes are under the bed.

The kitchen is between the living room and the bathroom. There is a fridge, a stove, and a small table.

"My apartment is not big," says Maya, "but it is my home. I love it!"

Leo visits for the first time. "This is so nice, Maya! Where is the bathroom?"

"It is behind the kitchen, on the right," says Maya.

"Perfect! And where is the coffee?" asks Leo with a laugh.
