What Time Do You Wake Up?

Daily routine & Present Simple (he/she). Maya and Leo compare their very different morning routines.

📖 Reading: Maya's Morning Routine

Maya has a very regular morning routine. She always wakes up at 7 AM.

First, she gets up and goes to the bathroom. She showers and brushes her teeth. Then she gets dressed.

At 7:30, she makes coffee. She always drinks her coffee at her desk. She checks her emails and reads the news.

At 8:15, she eats breakfast. She usually has toast and fruit. She never skips breakfast.

At 9 AM, she starts work. She is a graphic designer, so she works on her computer at home.

Leo's morning is different. He wakes up at 6 AM. He goes for a run before breakfast.

He eats a big breakfast at 7 AM: eggs, toast, and orange juice. Then he takes the bus to work.

"I like mornings," says Leo. "The city is quiet and beautiful at 6 AM!"
