📖 Reading: Omar's Interview
Omar recently applied for a part-time job at a local clinic. The interviewer asked him many questions about his past.
"Did you study medicine?" she asked.
"Yes, I did. I started my degree two years ago," said Omar.
"Did you work anywhere before this?" she asked.
"Yes, I did. I volunteered at a community health centre last summer."
"What did you do there?"
"I helped patients fill out forms, organised files, and assisted the nurses."
"Did you enjoy it?" asked the interviewer.
"Yes, very much. I learned a lot. I didn't want to leave!"
"Why didn't you continue volunteering there?"
"They didn't have a position available this year. But it was a great experience."
"One last question — what didn't you enjoy about it?"
Omar thought for a moment. "Honestly? The paperwork. But I understood why it was important."
The interviewer smiled. "We'll be in touch, Omar. Thank you."
