Evaluacion Final

Brian Okafor steps onto the stage at the London Fintech & SaaS Partnerships Summit.

Three hundred people are in the room. Six months ago, he was drafting his first investor email. Now he is here: Series C closed, three markets live, an award nomination on the table.

James is in the front row. Aisha has sent a message from Singapore: "Go get it."

Even Raymond texted: "Just be yourself. It worked with me."

Brian takes a breath. He begins.

Reading Text — Brian's Keynote (Extract)

LONDON FINTECH & SAAS PARTNERSHIPS SUMMIT

Keynote: "The Only Currency That Scales"

Brian Okafor, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Meridian Technologies

"Eighteen months ago, I sat across from a partner who told me our onboarding

process felt like a government letter. He didn't say it to hurt us. He said it

because he trusted us enough to be honest.

That feedback cost us three weeks of work. It saved us three accounts.

The conventional wisdom in SaaS partnerships is that scale is about systems —

the right CRM, the right workflow, the right incentive structure. I don't disagree.

What the data suggest, however, is that systems are necessary but not sufficient.

What closes a deal at GBP 85,000 ARR in Munich — and what saves one in Singapore —

is something you cannot automate.

It is the capacity to read the room.

Meridian closed a GBP 30M Series C last year. We launched three markets in twelve

months. Our LTV:CAC across the expansion markets is 15.3:1 — materially above the

sector benchmark of 3:1. These are outcomes that required financial modelling,

legal precision, and commercial acuity.

They also required a conversation with a partner who was filtering bad news,

a letter to a client whose trust we had damaged, and a presentation to an investor

who needed to believe not just in our model — but in us.

Scale without relationship is just volume. Volume without trust is just noise.

The only currency that scales is the one you can't put in a spreadsheet."
