"This is my family," she tells Leo. "My mother's name is Li-Ming. She is fifty-five years old."

"My father's name is Wei. He is fifty-eight. He is a teacher."

"Do you have brothers or sisters?" asks Leo.

"Yes! I have one brother. His name is Jason. He is twenty-five. He lives in Taipei."

"And your grandparents?" asks Leo.

"My grandmother is seventy-eight. She lives with my parents. My grandfather passed away five years ago."

"Family is everything," says Leo. "My grandmother always says: 'A family that eats together stays together!'"
